Tom Brady To Endorse Uggs Boots, Give Critics Softest, Most Comfortable Ammunition Ever

Tom Brady has enjoyed a mini-renaissance this season in New England. It's not that anyone doubted his legacy the past few years, but the mystique had faded a little bit. Ever since that knee injury, Brady was just a little less dominant. Until this season, that is.

On Thanksgiving against the Lions, he reminded us yet again that he's Tom Brady and we should fear him. After a quiet first half left the Patriots in a whole, four second half touchdowns left no doubt about who was the best player on the field that day. And just like that, the Patriots look like (maybe) the best team in the entire league. All because Brady's got his swagger back.

The most powerful example yet? He’s now endorsing Uggs. And let’s be honest: it takes SWAGGER for a man to endorse furry boots designed primarily for women, and especially popular among preppy high school girls. As Brady said in a statement this morning:

“I have worn and loved the UGG brand for a long time. This collaboration gives me an opportunity to work with a leading global brand with a great history and a true vision for the future of its men’s collection. It’s an exciting time to be part of the UGG Australia team.”

Okay. Let’s just pause and let all the Brady-haters breathe that quote in.

...So yes, Tom Brady has his swagger back. It takes serious security to admit to wearing and loving furry boots. But God. This also means his critics have more ammunition than ever. I mean, remember when Brady was the blue collar underdog hero from the sixth round?

That “blue collar guy” wears UGGS for Chrissakes!

People don’t even have to call him soft anymore. HE ENDORSES UGGS.

I know they say it’s always best to endorse products you actually use, but it might have been better to keep this one a secret between Tom and Gisele. Tell you what, though, Pats fans. Brady may wear fefe man-uggs, but you know who doesn’t? WESSSY WELKAHHHHHHHH.

(puts on Red Sox bullpen jacket, Timberland boots, gold chain, Dustin Pedroia shirt)

TELL YOU WHAT PAL, WELKAH GRABS HIS LUNCHPAIL AND TIES HIS BOOTSTRAPS JUST LIKE US EVERY MORNIN. TAWMMY GOES TO STAHBUCKS, WELKAH GOES TO DUNKIES. TAWMMY DATES GISELE, WELKAH DATES A SINGLE MOTHAH FROM BROCKTON. TAWMMY REHABS HIS KNEE IN CALIFORNIA, WELKAH PLAYS STREET FOOTBALL IN SOUTH BOSTON. WE’LL ALWAYS LOVE TAWMMY BRADY, BUT WESSY WELKAH IS ONE OF US. PURE GRIT, BUD. HE’S A F**KIN EARN-AH PAL!

ALL HE DOES IS WUHHHHHRK TILL HE’S CONCUSSED AND CROSS-EYED.

(Can’t wait for Welker to endorse Gucci loafers this offseason. LUNCHPAIL NATION!)
