It didn’t take long for the Chargers special teams unit to stink again. They’ve allowed plenty of blocked punts this season, and today was no exception.
Week 9 NFL, Chargers Vs. Texans: Houston Blocks Punt, Leads 7-0 Early
After going “3 and out” on their first drive, they lined up to punt the football. Although, it didn’t work out well for them. The Texans got penetration and blocked their first punt in six years.
This is the fifth blocked punt the Chargers have allowed this year. The Texans then started on the eight-yard-line, and RB Arian Foster ran it in for the touchdown. 7-0, Texans.
