Week 9 NFL, Colts Vs. Eagles: Michael Vick Off To Strong Start

Michael Vick was happy to have his starting job returned to him this week, and his performance on the field has shown as much. Andy Reid has to be pleased with the results early against the Colts.

Vick has already completed three of eight passes for 85 yards, one of which was a touchdown to wide receiver DeSean Jackson. In fact, Jackson has been the recipient of all of Vick’s passes.

Eagles are operating with a lot of balance early, as running back LeSean McCoy has three rushes for 69 yards. Eagles have five first downs.

On the other side of the ball, Peyton Manning has gotten off to a slow start, throwing an interception to Asante Samuel. Still, it’s tough to count the Colts out of any game with their prolific offense which can score points at will.

Right now, the Colts are driving, and the first quarter has just ended. The Eagles lead the Colts, 13-0.
