Week 9 NFL, Colts Vs. Eagles: Vinatieri Kicks Field Goal, Puts Colts Up For First Time, 17-16

After the first quarter, the Eagles found themselves up 13-0. They had a great gameplan and were moving the football at will.

However, one can never count out QB Peyton Manning, and he showed why. The Colts completely dominated the second quarter of this game, scoring 17 points and taking a lead into the half.

Manning has completed 18 of 25 passes for 175 yards, with one touchdown and interception as well. TE Jacob Tamme leads the team in receptions thus far, and has 7 recpetions for 53 yards and one touchdown. Tamme has been a favorite target for Manning, as he now has 13 catches and two touchdowns in the last six quarters of play.

QB Michael Vick has struggled, even against a banged-up Colts secondary. He has completed only 6 of 12 passes for 123 yards and one touchdown.

We look forward to an exciting second half of football, and many more points to come!
