NFL Scores And Results, Week 9: Eagles Dodge Late Colts Surge, Hold On To Win, 26-24

QB Michael Vick out-dueled QB Peyton Manning. Yes, that just happened.

Vick completed 17 of 29 passes for 218 yards and one touchdown. His counterpart, Manning, completed 31 of 51 passes for 294 yards and one touchdown. However, he did throw two key interceptions.

TE Jacob Tamme was Manning’s favorite receiver, the recipient of 11 catches for 108 yards and one touchdown.

For Philly, WR DeSean Jackson pulled in 7 balls for 109 yards and one touchdown. They operated with a lot of balance on offense, as RB LeSean McCoy rushed 16 times for 95 yards, one of which went for 62 yards.

The Eagles jumped out to a 13-0 lead after the first quarter. However, QB Peyton Manning responded and put up 17 of his own to give the Colts a one-point lead going into the half. The second half was a different story, and Philly made adjustments on defense to keep Manning at bay.

Manning had a chance with 40 seconds remaining in the game, but could not pull the Colts within field goal range, and instead threw an interception to end the game.
