Lions QB Matthew Stafford suffered a shoulder injury that reportedly could threaten his season.
Matthew Stafford Injury Could End His Season, According To Report
Kowalski reports that the Lions fear he’ll be done for the year. Stafford was scheduled to have an MRI on Monday but there’s no word if the MRI confirmed their fears. Stafford in the meantime is getting a second opinion from Dr. James Andrews but if the Lions fear is correct then Stafford will require surgery and almost assuredly end his season.
Stafford was injured in the Lions opener with a grade 2 separation and he missed Weeks 2-7. A grade 3 separation would more than likely end his season. There’s been no word from the Lions as Kowalski reports a final decision hasn’t been made.
