it’s very possible this game becomes a candidate for the worst NFL game of the year. No offense to either team but this matchup is...not pretty.
NFL Picks Week 15: Cardinals Will Beat Panthers In Game No One Wants To See
On the one hand, you've got the Arizona Cardinals. It may be John Skelton starting the game after he and the Cardinals put up 43 points on the Denver Broncos last week but that was an anomaly relative to the rest of the season. The Cardinals are a very poor team offensively which has resulted in many fantasy football fans being very upset at Larry Fitzgerald's minimal production. The Cardinals have individual talent on offense and defense but they simply haven't put it together this year.
On the other hand, you've got the Carolina Panthers. There aren't really any positives to report from their end. They stand at 1-12 on the season and on their way to locking up the No. 1 pick in the draft. They're the only team that can rival Arizona's quarterback situation with starting QB Matt Moore already down and QB Jimmy Clausen stepping in (Brian St. Pierre says, 'Don't forget me!').
How bad is Arizona? The Panthers -- the 1-12 Panthers -- are three point favorites over them. We’ll stick with Arizona in this game since they’ve demonstrated an ability to win more than one game but neither team has shown they’re interested in winning games this year. The Cardinals will take this game by a touchdown -- probably 7-0.
