VIDEO: Brad Smith Returns Opening Kickoff For Touchdown

The New York Jets traveled to Pittsburgh for an AFC showdown in the snow. Heinz Field was rocking with anticipation as the two took the field.

The Jets won the opening kickoff and elected to receive: a decision that would prove to be the correct one. WR/RB/KR Brad Smith is their main all-purpose guy on the roster, and they showed why.

The Steelers kicked off and Smith fielded the ball from his own 2-yard line. The rest, is history.

As soon as Smith started running with the football, special teams coach Mike Westhoff’s unit opened up a huge seam on the right side of the field and Smith sprinted through it. As soon as he burst through the hole and crossed midfield, the rest was history, as he was not going to be caught by anyone on the Steelers special teams unit.

A great start to the game, for sure. Keep it here as we provide updates as they come in.
