Browns Vs. Ravens: A Lot Of Defense In Third Quarter
It wasn’t pretty, but it worked. Baltimore started the half with a solid drive capped off by a 22-yard touchdown pass from Flacco to WR Derrick Mason.
There wasn’t really much else, as the Ravens looked to their power-running game and defense to shorten the game and preserve their lead. The Ravens have rushed for 114 yards, to Cleveland’s 83.
Both teams have 11 first downs, but the Ravens finished their drives while the Browns didn’t, and that’s been the difference thus far.
QB Joe Flacco has completed 11 of 18 passes for 96 yards (two touchdowns, one interception). On the other side of the ball, QB Colt McCoy has completed nine of 19 passes for 91 yards (two interceptions). It’s the turnovers that are the difference in this game right now, which is why the Ravens currently lead, 20-10, going into the fourth quarter.
