With the Jacksonville Jaguars losing, the Indianapolis Colts knew they could set themselves up to have a shot at an AFC South title with a win over the Oakland Raiders today. The Colts led 31-26 late, with a third-and-two in Oakland territory. A first down would all but ice the game. Obviously, if you're calling the Colts offense, you get the ball to your playmaker:
VIDEO: Peyton Manning Gallops 31 Yards Towards The NFL Playoffs

↵Smart of the quarterback to wave his arms and point at himself while running, thereby calling a mid-play audible and instructing himself to slide in order to kill clock. Good thing Peyton Manning’s swag is slightly less obvious than Desean Jackson’s, or else we’d be treated to a week of columnists complaining about Manning’s clock-related showboating.
↵The Colts actually rushed for more yards than they passed for, an extremely rare feat for Indy indeed. For the Raiders fan, there is no more defining visual of Oakland’s recent history than the opposing quarterback being the only player capable of stopping the slowest man on the field.
