VIDEO: Ed Reed’s Jacket Catches Fire On The Sideline

There's no other way to put this: Baltimore Ravens safety Ed Reed sat too close to a sideline heater, and his enormous puffy jacket got a little too warm. It's OK though, because Reed has experience at dealing with smoke on the playing field from his time as a member of the Miami Hurricanes. I'm talking about their entrance.

↵

↵Is he all right? He’s hurt, dawg. Don’t ask Reed if he’s all right. Hell nah. His jacket just caught fire. He put his body in that jacket, and it caught fire. Let’s go, man.

↵Most obvious joke here: “Ed Reed is on fire! No, literally on fire!” But isn’t it even even more fun to say Reed just became a fire ... safety ... expert? Safety? He plays safety? That’s the football position he plays!
