The Minnesota Vikings are, surprisingly, hanging right with the Philadelphia Eagles on Tuesday Night Football. The game, originally scheduled for Sunday, was postponed due to snow concerns in Philadelphia. In the third quarter, with the score tied at seven, the Vikings appeared to take the lead on a Joe Webb touchdown pass to Sidney Rice. Instead, upon further review, the catch was overturned and the Vikings settled for a field goal. It's a play that could loom large down the stretch in a close game.

The touchdown catch was overturned after officials deemed Rice didn't have control as he went to the ground while falling out of bounds. He got two feet in, there's no question about that, but he appeared to bobble the ball as he hit to the ground. The rule -- which we can now deem the "Calvin Johnson rule" -- states a receiver must keep control of the ball the entire time as they go to the ground, even in the end zone. Sidney established possession, went to the ground, and the ball looks like it trickles out at the very end of the play.
