The Baltimore Ravens are 10 point favorites over the Cincinnati Bengals according to NFL odds. The Ravens have locked up a playoff spot and can still get to the second seed in the AFC and earn a first round bye. But..they need the Pittsburgh Steelers to lose. Ravens coach John Harbaugh admits they'll be scoreboard watching but says that won't change their approach.
NFL Picks Week 17: Ravens Heavy Favorites As They Play To Win Vs. Bengals
“I hate to get into that because I don’t think you ever know,” he said Wednesday. “No, I won’t do that based on Pittsburgh’s score. We’ll just play it like we always play it, and we’ll try to win.”
So the Ravens are going to to try to win which isn't good for Cincinnati. The Bengals are 4-11 on the year but they've actually won two in a row (after losing 10 in a row). They'll be playing without both Chad Ochocinco (injured) and Terrell Owens (IR) which has actually been productive for Carson Palmer and Co.
I won’t go so far as to say the Bengals will win but I don’t think the Ravens are winning by 10 or more. The Bengals are a different team without the T.O. and Ochocinco sideshow. Look for the Ravens to win -- but not by more than a touchdown.
