NFL Week 13, Redskins Vs. Giants: Third Quarter Much Of The Same, Giants Lead 28-7

Though the Washington Redskins finally put points up on the scoreboard in the third quarter the game remained much the same. The New York Giants once again ran the ball down the Redskins throats and got yet another rushing touchdown to keep their lead at 21 points.

The Redskins found 7 points on a 33 yard touchdown pass from quarterback Donovan McNabb to wide receiver Anthony Armstrong. After three turnovers (two fumbles and one interception) thwarted the Redskins from having any impact on the game, McNabb made up for his two turnovers by connecting with Armstrong.

Prior to McNabb's touchdown pass was another rushing touchdown by the Giants. Brandon Jacobs ran in for his second rushing touchdown of the game, matching teammate Ahmad Bradshaw for touchdowns. Jacobs also recored his largest amount of rushing yards this season, gaining 107 yards on the ground today (his previous high was 87 yards).

The Giants continue to lead the game by 21, up on the Redskins 28-7.
