Mike Wallace Starring For Steelers In First Half, Tips Preferred In Tampa
Wallace has two touchdown catches in the first half of today’s game, on receptions of 46 and 41 yards. His second score came on a great catch of a tipped ball deep in the corner of the end zone, and put the Steelers up 21-6.
It’s not the only great catch of a tipped pass in this game.
Kellen Winslow, hanging near the sideline, snagged a Josh Freeman pass that was deflected with one hand, then kept his balance as he pulled it in. It's the highlight of the half for the Bucs, and one of the better moves ever made for a tip in Tampa. Well, on a football field, anyway.
