Never mind that Braylon Edwards was missing from action for the first quarter of Sunday night’s action because of disciplinary action stemming from his DWI arrest this week. Mark Sanchez was more than content to find his prized tight end or a big gain.
After Keller began the opening frame with four catches for 79 yards, Sanchez found Keller in the end zone again for a 12-yard touchdown, Keller’s second of the game and third of the season.

Mark Sanchez hit tight end Dustin Keller on a sideline route at the goal line for a 24-yard touchdown pass to end a 10-play, 72-yard opening drive to give the Jets a 7-0 lead to open the Sunday night game in Miami.
The Dolphins offense hasn’t yet quite found its stride. Chad Henne is 2/6 for 23 yards, while the duo of Ricky Williams and Ronnie Brown can account for one carry for two yards each. Former Dolphins star Jason Taylor made an impact early for a Jets team he once spoke ill of by registering a sack on Henne.

Six days after mustering an anemic 74 passing yards against a rugged Baltimore defense, Sanchez outplayed his more-decorated counterpart by completing a sharp 21-of-30 throws for 220 yards and a career-high three touchdowns versus a New England team that’s finished atop the AFC East in six of the past seven seasons.
