Trent Edwards Reportedly Claimed By The Jaguars

The Bills surprisingly released QB Trent Edwards, a 2007 third round pick, on Monday.

He entered the waiver wire on Tuesday and was expected to have multiple teams offer a claim on him.

At least one did: The Jaguars.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the Jaguars claimed and were awarded Edwards off of waivers.

SB Nation’s Big Cat Country has quickly weighed in on the move:

This move isn’t a surprise considering just how desperate the position was getting for Jacksonville.

The seat may be getting warmer for David Garrard.

Check out Big Cat Country to see what Jaguars fans are saying of the move.
