Steelers Vs. Browns: Steelers Leave Nothing To Chance, Put 31 On The Browns During The First Half

The Cleveland Browns had nothing to play for except to be spoilers to the Pittsburgh Steelers playoff position and AFC North Division title hopes. Unfortunately for the Browns the Steelers appear to just be too good in its quest to secure the division championship.

Having already jumped out to a 14-3 lead in the first quarter, the Steelers preyed on Browns rookie starting quarterback Colt McCoy for two more interceptions in the second quarter (one in the first quarter). The Steelers turned those two McCoy interceptions (the first by Ryan Clark and the second by Anthony Madison) into 10 points.

Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger connected with tight end Heath Miller to make the most of the first interception, a 4-yard touchdown. Kicker Shaun Suisham kicked a 41-yard field goal to follow up the second pick. Runningback Rashard Mendenhall had scored a one-yard touchdown to originally put the Steelers up 21-3 prior to the two interceptions..

The Steelers lead the Browns 31-3 heading into halftime.
