For the first time since 1980, the Atlanta Falcons have clinched the NFC’s No. 1 seed, beating the Carolina Panthers 31-10. Finishing 13-3 and taking their first NFC South title since 2004, Atlanta had one of the NFL’s best home records this year, going 7-1 in the Georgia Dome.
