With their NFL playoff aspirations on the line, the Green Bay Packers had a few more than 20 minutes to get their offense operating with enough consistency to put some points on the board. The Chicago Bears have forced two turnovers, including a Charles Tillman interception of Aaron Rodgers.
Bears Vs. Packers: NFL Playoff Hopeful Green Bay Ties It Up 3-3 In Third
A 33-yard catch-and-run by Greg Jennings set the Packers up on the goal line, but two straight strong plays by Chicago’s D plus a wormburner of a screen by Rodgers forced Green Bay to settle for three.
Bears RB Matt Forte remains the bulk of the Chicago offense, contributing 74 of the Bears’ 86 rushing yards and 49 of their 99 receiving yards. And Rodgers is still the extent of the Green Bay attack, accounting for 160 of the team’s 183 yards.
A big punt return by CB Tramon Williams gave the Packers the ball in Chicago territory, one of their best opportunities all day to take the lead. A penalty gave Green Bay a first down near the 35-yard line.
