AFC Championship Game: Time To Roll Back Single-Digit Temperature Forecasts For Jets-Steelers?
Weather.com’s forecast for the AFC Championship Game predicts that it will only be in the teens come game time, with a 15 degree forecast for 6 p.m. in Pittsburgh, just half an hour before the game’s kickoff time at 6:30 p.m. Eastern.
Whether this is better news for the Jets’ Mark Sanchez, who has struggled in inclement and cold weather as an NFL quarterback, or the Steelers, who love to go long to Mike Wallace, remains to be seen. But it seems rumors of a white AFC Championship Game with snow and frigid temperatures were a little premature.
