Chad Ochocinco Says He’s Changing His Name Back To Chad Johnson

Heard this before?

Cincinnati Bengals WR Chad Ochocinco is changing his name back to Chad Johnson.

It was less than two years ago that Chad Johnson changed his name to Chad Ochocinco. The Bengals WR legally changed his name to Ochocinco in 2009...probably so it would match his No. 85 jersey number.

On ESPN’s NFL Live Tuesday afternoon, Ochocinco announced he would change his name -- again -- but back to Johnson this time.

We’ll file this under “Does anyone care?” Here are a few Tweets that help explain my feelings on it:

I hope Chad Ochocinco is serious about changing his name back to Chad Johnson. I kno I’m not the only one who thought it was stupid.

When he decides to focus on the game and dump Hollywood I'll take him seriously. And I never called him Ochocinco.
