2011 NFL Mock Draft: A.J. Green Is A Top Pick If He Comes Out

Georgia WR A.J. Green hasn't yet made up his mind whether he'll enter the 2011 NFL draft but plenty of mock drafts are operating as if he will. He's expected to be a top pick in the draft and there's even some chatter of him being No. 1 overall with Andrew Luck now deciding to stay at Stanford.

Here’s a run down of a few different mock drafts and where they’re predicting Green to end up:

SB Nation (No. 3 Buffalo): Buffalo certainly has bigger needs, but Bills GM Buddy Nix doesn't mind taking the best player, particularly in round one. A receiving corps featuring Green, Stevie Johnson and Lee Evans would keep defensive coordinators from sleeping well next season.

CBS Sports Rob Rang (No. 4 Bengals): With the T.O.-Ochocinco duo likely out the door, the Bengals will have to convince themselves they've seen enough development from Jerome Simpson to pass on Green. Certainly Cincinnati has bigger needs than wide receiver, but sometimes the best way to build a team is to simply take the best available player.

CBS Sports Chad Reuter (NO. 6 Browns): The Browns could use the help on defense, but Green's talent is too great to pass up.

FanHouse (No. 4 Bengals): The T.O./Ochocinco experiment imploded in Cincinnati -- shocker, right? -- so Carson Palmer still needs a WR to throw to. And this looks like a pretty safe pick at the position. Green could wind up being the best player to come out of this draft.

Draft Tek (No. 6 Browns): Again, the most talented wide receiver falls into Mike Holmgren’s lap. A.J. Green will be an impact player immediately, if he declares for the 2011 draft. Reports out of Georgia suggest that Green will go pro. If Green decides to stay in school, WR Julio Jones would make a gaudy consolation prize
