So far, in his short stint as Jacksonville Jaguars starting quarterback, Blaine Gabbert has done reasonably well for a rookie. Cam Newton's ridiculous stats and Andy Dalton's consistent play might have skewed expectations for rookie quarterbacks a bit, but by the normal standard of rookie quarterbacks, Gabbert is performing quite well and he looks like a player who should develop into a reliable starter in the future. Unfortunately for him, he'll be facing the toughest test of his young career so far when he takes on the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.
NFL Odds And Lines Week 6: Jaguars Vs. Steelers
The odds have not been kind to Blaine Gabbert and the Jacksonville Jaguars. The betters hate them so much that the line has moved by four points towards the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Between Pittsburgh's great performance against the Tennessee Titans last week and Gabbert's rookie status, those who like to put money on football games are not optimistic about the Jags' chances to keep this one close. Pittsburgh opened as 9 1/2 point favorites, but that line has moved considerably, with some bookies now willing to give you 13 points or more if you want to lay some cash on the Jags.
