The meat of the season is here as the contenders for playoff spots are making themselves known, and many will be facing each other early and often in Week 6.
NFL Week 6 Schedule: Lions-Niners, Bills-Giants Highlight Early Games
Tons of juicy matchups are on tap from 1 p.m. on Sunday to Monday night. We have the complete list of times and teams right here.
Highlights from the Sunday afternoon games are matchups between the undefeated Lions and the 4-1 49ers, which, except for a couple Niners receivers, feature two teams playing at their best with the rosters at full strength. The Bills and the Giants also face each other in a cross-conference matchup of talented teams in different directions. Many, however, are predicting the Giants to win and the Bills to fall back to Earth a little bit.
The late afternoon games feature a couple of juicy matchups, with the Cowboys facing the Patriots on FOX in “America’s Game Of The Week,” which, if you read between the lines, could also mean “Patriotically Themed Exploitatively Named Game That You Will Probably Watch.” The Texans and Ravens also play on CBS in a matchup of early contenders for AFC byes.
