VIDEO: Cam Newton 14-Yard TD Run And Dance

Cam Newton gave the Carolina Panthers over the Atlanta Falcons early in the third quarter with a 14-yard touchdown run that made it 17-14. Newton’s touchdown capped off a 13-play, 80-yard drive that burned more than eight minutes of clock time.

Newton then added a little flair to the touchdown with a little celebration dance. Watch him go right here.

Cam Newton has five rushes for 49 yards and a touchdown on the day so far. As a passer, Newton has completed 15 of 23 passing attempts for 164 yards. He also has thrown one interception in the game.

A win would give the Panthers a nominal lead over the Falcons in the NFC South, putting Atlanta in last place with just two wins on the season. Carolina was not expected to compete this year with a rookie quarterback at the helm, but Ron Rivera’s team has been more than willing to take chances, almost pulling off some major upsets.
