NFL Scores Week 6: Eagles Keep Season Alive Vs. Redskins

Philadelphia's biggest advantage was not employing Rex Grossman, who torpedoed the Redskins' chances by throwing four interceptions. Grossman was benched in the second half for John Beck. The backup's remarkably average play (a huge improvement over Grossman) likely means it's time to revive the least interesting quarterback controversy in the NFL.
Eagles running back LeSean McCoy carried the ball 28 times for 126 yards and a touchdown. Michael Vick threw for 237 yards and a touchdown. The Michael Vick injury watch came into play in the second half when Vick left the field after taking a shot to the head. The Eagles said the quarterback just had dirt in his eye.
With the win, the Eagles move to 2-4 avoid entering their bye week in a complete free fall. The Redskins fall to 3-2 and have to figure out what to do at the quarterback position.
