Dolphins Vs. Jets: Mark Sanchez Runs It In, Jets Lead 14-6 At Half

The Jets haven't had much success moving the ball, entering halftime with just 100 yards of total offense. (In all fairness, perhaps that figure should be doubled, when you take into account Darrelle Revis' 100-yard INT return.) New York's running backs have combined for just 13 yards on nine carries, so Mark Sanchez decided to take matters into his own hands, sneaking up the middle for a five-yard touchdown in the final minutes of the second quarter:

The Jets need a lot more production if they're going to sustain this lead, especially if Brandon Marshall eventually stops dropping balls in the end zone. Miami has also failed to convert a third down on six opportunities.

Sanchez has been quietly efficient throwing the ball, connecting with five different receivers while completing 7-of-12 passes for 84 yards. Shonn Greene has carried the ball seven times for 14 yards, while LaDainian Tomlinson has lost one yard on two carries.
