On the Panthers first drive of the second half, Cam Newton scored a rushing touchdown, his seventh of the season. That number ties Newton with Vince Young for most rushing touchdowns by a rookie quarterback. It was his his fifth rushing in the last five games.

Newton is having a strong fantasy football day, so far. He has thrown for 141 passing yards and rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown midway through the third quarter.
