ANIMATED: Philadelphia Eagles Center Has Snap Issues

I’m not actually sure how this happens. It would seem a center would know when a quarterback is lined up in the shotgun or not. In one case, the quarterback is a good five yards behind the line of scrimmage. In the other, the quarterback has his hands planted firmly on the center’s backside. Seems simple, right?

How does this even happen? I get momentary lapses and all, but this seems pretty simple as a center. Either the quarterback’s hands are there or they’re not.
