The Dallas Cowboys were expected to have some troubles with the Philadelphia Eagles considering the Andy Reid led team is typically excellent coming off of bye weeks. Not many guessed the final score would be 34-7, however, as Michael Vick and LeSean McCoy led the Dream Team to a drubbing of America's Team.
Cowboys Vs. Eagles Final Score: Michael Vick, LeSean McCoy Roll Over Dallas
The Eagles were led by Michael Vick to a 24-0 lead at halftime before slowing down a bit in the second half. That didn’t hurt the statistics put up by Michael Vick and LeSean McCoy, however. Vick passed for 279 yards and two touchdowns through the air and added 50 more yards on the ground while McCoy had a career day with 185 yards rushing and two touchdowns.
The Cowboys struggled, to say the least, as Tony Romo completed just 15 passes for 178 yards while running back DeMarco Murray was limited by the score -- though he made the most of his time on the field by rushing for 74 yards on just eight carries. Laurent Robinson was a bright spot, however, as he hauled in five catches for 103 yards and two highlight-worthy plays.
The Cowboys will look to get back on track next weekend as they host the Seattle Seahawks while the Eagles play their second prime-time game in as many weeks, this a Monday Night Football affair against the Chicago Bears.
