Not the best start for Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton. Facing arguably their biggest test of the young season in the New Orleans Saints, Newton was intercepted on the game's first play.

It wasn't very pretty either. On an apparent miscommunication between he and receiver Steve Smith, Newton threw the pass to the inside while the receiver cut toward the sideline. Patrick Robinson easily picked it off and took it down to the 4-yard line. The Saints scored two plays later.
