That was Bowe’s second touchdown of the day, second highlight reel touchdown catch. Bowe made a 41-yard touchdown catch to put the Kansas City Chiefs on the board in the second quarter, with a long run and nice juke of an Indianapolis defender.
Bowe now has five catches, 119 yards and two touchdowns on the day. This is Bowe’s third 100-yard receiving game of the season, and his second consecutive week to post triple digits in receiving yards.
Bowe has been a catalyst for the Kansas City offense, which was reeling after losing Jamaal Charles for the season. Tensions nearly boiled over recently when head coach Todd Haley and quarterback Matt Cassel exchanged verbal jabs on the sidelines.
