Darian Stewart, Al Harris Injuries: Rams Secondary Getting Thin

The Rams can’t catch a break, losing two key members of their secondary early against the Browns. From the team’s official Twitter account:

Injury updates: S Darian Stewart has head injury, return questionable. CB Al Harris has right knee injury, he will not return.

Considering the Browns are without Peyton Hillis and his primary backup Montario Hardesty, they probably entered this game with plans to rely on the passing game — and now, that just got easier.

But do they have the weapons to take advantage? The Browns came into the game averaging 207 passing yards per game, ranked 25th in the league. Colt McCoy has only 48 yards on 6-for-9 passing early in the second quarter. The Rams, meanwhile, came into the game with the league’s 12th-ranked pass defense.
