VIDEO: Saints Fake Field Goal Falls Short

The New Orleans Saints got the football first to start the game against the New York Giants on Monday Night Football. Right out of the gate, the Saints began to move right down the football field thanks to some big passing plays by quarterback Drew Brees.

The drive stalled out however and the Saints looked like they were going to kick a field goal. The Saints lined up in the field formation, but it was a fake. Back up quarterback Chase Daniels was the holder and he popped and connected on a pass to tight end Jimmy Graham. The Giants unit did a nice job to stay home however, and after breaking the initial tackle Graham was stopped short of the first down, giving the ball to the Giants on the 10-yard line.
