Giants Vs. Saints Score Update: Brandon Jacobs TD Run Brings Score To 21-10, Saints

The New York Giants traded the New Orleans Saints 21-3 coming out of halftime, but were quickly able to cut into the lead. The Giants went on an 8-play drive that ended in a Brandon Jacobs touchdown run, where he completely ran over safety Roman Harper on his way to the endzone.

Here’s a video of the entire play:

The Giants scoring drive was assisted by a somewhat questionable personal foul call on Saints safety Isa Abdul-Quddus. Abdul-Quddus laid a big hit on Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks as he went over the middle and was flagged for hitting a "defenseless receiver". It looked like a relatively clean hit to me. Nicks had already caught the football, so I guess in order to not be a defenseless receiver, Abdul-Quddus needed to let him land before he tried to knock the ball out? You be the judge:

Brandon Jacobs just couldn’t contain himself on his touchdown. He just had to... dance.
