Ravens Vs. Steelers Halftime Score: Billy Cundiff Leads Ravens To Lead

The Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens are engaged in what can best be described as a defensive battle on Sunday Night Football. That or a War of Attrition, maybe, as the two teams were tied at six points apiece before Billy Cundiff hit his third kick of the game to give Baltimore a 9-6 lead on the score board at halftime.

The game has involved as many hard hits, the majority of which were probably illegal, as the two AFC North rivals obviously aren’t fans of each other. The Hines Ward injury seems to be the only major issue that has been caused by the hits as of halftime, but there’s a good chance worse things are on their way in the second half.

The only highlight worthy play that didn't involve some sort of hemet-to-helmet hit -- aside from the 76-yard run from Ray Rice on the first play of the game that was later called back due to a holding penalty -- came on a spectacular catch from Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith, as shown below.

There haven't been any turnovers as of yet, so while neither team has a made a major mistake, neither team has looked great either. Ben Roethlisberger has completed seven of his 15 passisng attempts for 115 yards while Joe Flacco has completed 10 of his 19 passing attempts for 130 yards.
