The Chicago Bears got 133 rushing yards from running back Matt Forte and a pair of touchdown passes from quarterback Jay Cutler to improve to 5-3 with a 30-24 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night.

Cutler was 18-of-32 for 208 yards on the night, hooking up frequently with Earl Bennett, who had a team-high five receptions for 95 yards after missing the previous five weeks with a chest injury. The Bears also got a solid effort from their much-maligned offensive line, who paved the way for Forte and Marion Barber to run for 164 yards and a touchdown (by Barber) and held the Eagles without so much as a hit on Cutler.
Eagles running back LeSean McCoy had another solid performance with 117 yards from scrimmage, including a 71-yard rushing effort that was capped by a 33-yard touchdown run in the third quarter. Eagles quarterback Michael Vick struggled to connect with top wideouts DeSean Jackson and Jason Avant, who were targeted 17 times but combined for just six receptions for 79 yards. Jackson also had a disastrous night a punt returner, losing nine yards and fumbling on his one return. The Bears capitalized on Jackson's error, with Barber rumbling into the end zone to take a seven-point lead into the half.
With the loss, the Eagles dropped to 3-5 and are tied with the Washington Redskins at the bottom of the NFC East, three games behind the New York Giants. Philadelphia hosts the Arizona Cardinals at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday, while the Bears play host to the 6-2 Detroit Lions.
