NFL Odds And Lines Week 13: Lions Vs. Saints

The Detroit Lions visit the bayou with a contest against the New Orleans Saints. Drew Brees will look to continue his aerial dominance against the Lioners

The Detroit Lions are readjusting to the NFL after surprising everyone with a 5-0 start. Now at 7-4, the Lions are 2-4 in their last four games and are on the outside looking in for the playoffs. It won't be easier to move into the playoffs with this Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints. The opening line of this game favored the Saints by 8.5 points, according to Odds Shark. The line has moved up to nine and 10.5 points on later lines.

Last week the Lions went up against the Green Bay Packers and lost, 27-15. The passing attack of Aaron Rodgers is followed by the aerial game of the Saints' Drew Brees. But the Lions do have a 4-1 road record to help them in this game. But before the Lions should get too excited, the Saints are 5-0 at home.

This should be a high-scoring affair, as the Saints (32.9 points) and the Lions (28.7 points) are ranked No. 2 and No. 4 in points per game this season. The over/under opened at 53.5 points and has shifted up to 54 points on later lines.
