Crennel is the most logical choice as the Chiefs interim head coach. He has past experience as a head coach with four years running the show in Cleveland and among the Chiefs assistant coaches he’s probably the best suited to become the interim head coach.

The Kansas City Chiefs have fired Todd Haley, the team announced on its website Monday morning, saying that Haley has been “relieved of his duties as head coach effective immediately” in a statement.
