Jets head coach Rex Ryan confirmed safety Jim Leonhard suffered a season-ending injury in Sunday’s game against the Chiefs.

If this is a serious injury, it would be the second straight season in which his season had been cut short. Last year, Leonhard was limited to 11 games after breaking his tibia on Dec. 3.
