Laurent Robinson Status Update: Cowboys WR Will Play, Be Used As Third WR

Despite being listed as questionable for Saturday night’s matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Laurent Robinson says he will be on the field. Robinson suffered a shoulder injury and had been limited in practice, making him somewhat of a game-time decision.

With the game just over an hour away, Robinson told ESPN he will play, but will work more as a third wide receiver going forward.

Dallas WR Laurent Robinson told ESPN's Bob Holtzman he is playing tonight vs. TB. Robinson added his role now is only mostly in 3 wides.

Robinson may see his targets decrease with Dez Bryant and Miles Austin both healthy and in the lineup, but he’s continued to make an impact on the field in recent weeks. For the season, Robinson is the team’s second-leading receiver with 763 yards on 46 catches. His eight touchdown catches are also tied for the team lead with Bryant.
