Cowboys Vs. Buccaneers Score: Miles Austin Touchdown Gives Dallas 7-0 Lead

Everything seemed to be going well for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as they drove towards Dallas Cowboys territory on their first possession of the game. Quarterback Josh Freeman ripped off a nice run and the Bucs were in business, looking to strike first on Saturday Night Football.

But it all came quickly undone as Freeman put the ball on the turf. The Cowboys recovered the loose ball, ending the Bucs first drive.

Dallas drove inside the Tampa Bay 10 on the ensuing possession, setting up one of the more interesting touchdowns you’ll see. Tony Romo did his best Tebow on third and goal, spinning around, running into a lineman, and finally finding Miles Austin for the touchdown.

The play was reviewed, and it remains difficult to tell whether Austin established and maintained possession through the catch.

With the play upheld, Dallas took an early 7-0 lead on Saturday Night Football, live on NFL Network.
