The Dallas Cowboys entered the night against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a near "must win" situation to get into the playoffs. Dallas lived up to that, scoring 28 straight points against a reeling Buccaneers football team. Quarterback Tony Romo had an excellent night, throwing for 249 yards and three touchdowns. It wasn't until the third quarter than the Bucs finally hit the score board, on a fumble recovery for a touchdown.
Cowboys Vs. Buccaneers Final Score: Dallas Puts Tampa Away Early, 31-15
The Bucs offense struggled for the second week in a row as Tampa dropped their eighth game in a row. The Bucs only turned it over once, but quarterback Josh Freeman had just 148 passing yards as the Bucs offense was limited to just 190 yards of total offense. With the victory, the Dallas Cowboys currently sit atop the NFC East.
