Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News is reporting that New York Giants wide receiver has been injured on the final kickoff of the first half in the Week 15 matchup with the Washington Redskins. The Giants currently trail in that game, 17-3.

Vacchiano has been tweeting updates on Thomas. The Giants receiver apparently stayed on the ground well into halftime. Vacchiano’s updates were as follows:

On the final kickoff of the first half, Giants WR Devin Thomas got hurt. He's still on the ground as the band sets up for the halftime show.

Thomas still down with about 15 people around him. Band has been instructed to leave the field. No halftime show.

Vacchiano also tweeted a picture of Thomas being carted off the field while the halftime band set up for their show.

There is currently no further information on the injury but we will keep you posted.
