NFL Playoff Picture: Chiefs Can Win AFC West After Broncos, Raiders Lose

The Kansas City Chiefs entered Week 15 with an interim head coach at the helm and the undefeated Green Bay Packers rolling into town. They will leave it with their hopes of winning the AFC West still intact.

The Chiefs upset the Packers, 19-14, and moved to 6-8 on the year. But the Denver Broncos and Oakland Raiders both lost in Week 15 — to the New England Patriots and Detroit Lions, respectively — to keep the AFC West title up in the air. The Broncos are now 8-6, and lead the 7-7 Raiders by a game.

But Kansas City plays Oakland and Denver to finish the year, and could be playing for the AFC West title in Week 17 if the Broncos lose to the Buffalo Bills in Week 16.

Even crazier, perhaps? The San Diego Chargers, 6-7 on the season, aren't out of the picture, either, meaning that with just nine games to go, every team in the AFC West can still win the AFC West. Parity's something, huh?
