NFL Picks And Predictions Week 17: Jets Vs. Dolphins

The majority of NFL experts are predicting a Miami Dolphins win over the New York Jets on Sunday.

Rex Ryan and the New York Jets will attempt to earn a spot in the AFC Playoffs when they travel to Sun Life Stadium to take on the 5-10 Miami Dolphins.

Even with the win, the Jets need a combination of losses by the Cincinnati Bengals, Tennessee Titans, and the Oakland Raiders or the Denver Broncos to get into the post-season. The Jets have won two of their last three games against the Dolphins, including a 31-23 win in Miami last September.

Mike Freeman is the lone expert at CBSSports.com who thinks the Jets will beat the Dolphins, while Ron Jaworski and Chris Mortensen are the two experts at ESPN who think the Jets win. Both Mike Florio and Gregg Rosenthal at NBC Sports and Pro Football Talk predict the Jets to win. Sports Illustrated’s Peter King thinks the Jets defense bails out Mark Sanchez.

I kept thinking I should like Matt Moore in this game more than Mark Sanchez because of how each has played recently. But I see the Jets coming out with a better defensive performance.
