Bragging rights are all that's on the line this Sunday in the Metrodome when the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings meet for the 101st time in an NFL regular season. The Bears have won the last four meetings, including a 39-10 win on Sunday Night Football in mid-October that ushered in the Christian Ponder Era with the Vikings.
NFL Picks And Predictions Week 17: Bears Vs. Vikings
The majority of NFL experts are picking the Minnesota Vikings over the Chicago Bears this Sunday.
Three of the five experts at CBSSports.com pick the Vikings, with Mike Freeman and Will Brinson taking the Bears. The eight-person panel of experts at ESPN is evenly split in this NFC North battle.
Mike Florio and Gregg Rosenthal of NBC Sports/Pro Football Talk both pick the Vikings, as does Sports Illustrated's Peter King, who has some parting words for retiring Vikings tight end Jim Kleinsasser:
Jim Kleinsasser retires after Sunday’s game. Memo to Jim: The game will really miss you. You’ve always done it right, you’ve never complained about how much you touch the ball or who you have to block. You’ve appreciated your lot in life and realized how fortunate you’ve been to be an NFL player. Been a pleasure watching you for 13 years.
