Although some rumblings said the NFL wanted the Patriots and Broncos game on Dec. 18 to be flexed to Sunday night, that won’t be happening. The Ravens and Chargers will remain on NBC Sunday night for Week 15.
Patriots-Broncos Will Not Be Flexed To Sunday Night In Week 15
CBS, who originally had the Patriots-Broncos game and understands the TV ratings with Tebow and Brady playing, wanted to keep the game on Sunday afternoon at 4:15 p.m. (ET).
The two TV networks were reportedly fighting to get the game over the past few days and the league usually announces any flex schedule changes on Tuesdays, nearly two weeks before the game.
