Dick LeBeau Returning To Pittsburgh Steelers In 2011 As Defensive Coordinator

Per usual, LeBeau will sign a one-year contract with the Steelers. Most Steelers assistants are signed to two-year deals but LeBeau chooses to sign one year deals, as he has every year with the Steelers since 2004. Since LeBeau’s return in 2004, the Steelers defense has ranked in the top three on five separate occasions.

There were some reports that LeBeau wasn’t sure if he would be returning to the Steelers but that apparently was never the case as LeBeau told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, “I’m not coaching anywhere but here.”
